My Personal Experience with Water!

In October of 2022, I headed down to Mexico to run one of our first retreats. When I got down there the best option we had available for clean water was the Kangen machine. I began using it for a few weeks and slowly started to notice my skin, hair, and thirst levels change. I started feeling dry and sticky in my body and thirsty all the time. My hair and skin started to feel dehydrated. Now, coming from living in the mountains in Canada for three years to using one of the best machines on the market I wasn’t sure what was going on with me. I had to assess my environment to understand why I was feeling the way I felt.

I went through the entire retreat center systematically clearing out any harmful chemicals or things in my environment that may have been contributing to this feeling and shift.

I kept telling Aisha that its either the food or the water, but it didn’t feel like the food because I had tested all that.

I ended up going home to Vancouver for Christmas and over the next three weeks drinking mountain water through the Alkaviva my skin, hair, and body began to rehydrate and feel smooth again. It took about 21 days before I could notice any difference but it was substantial.

Now for some contrast!

I went back to Mexico on Christmas day to set our team up for the next adventure. We were all moving down to Mexico to build the retreat center (Akasha) and develop the model of how to run our in-person programs.

Coming back to the space, I began drinking the Kangen water again. Within 21 days, my skin was dry, and I was thirsty all the time. I went back to the thought there was something up with the water! Well, lucky me, Garry, and Cynthia ended up flying to Mexico in the middle of January with the Alkaviva machine in their luggage. We managed to install it and after 21 days my body was back to normal again.

This was a reinforcement to me of how powerful such a small thing can be on my overall health. Especially something that I’m putting in and on my body every single day.

On a side note, some of the other things that I have appreciated about having the machine is:

• The fact that we have a natural, organic surface cleaner readily available. The alkaviva has an acid water setting that cleans surfaces rather than having to constantly buy products for our property.
• I cut my big toe on a barnacle at the beach and used one of the alkaviva water settings to cauterize the wound. I can’t remember which setting I used but it made the skin stick together so the wound could heal faster. I soaked it in the water for 3 minutes and it cauterized the skin to my nail!
• I like to eat organic food (only). Well, organic labels don’t always mean organic! By using the acid water from the alkaviva it can pull off any harmful chemicals from my produce. There have been a number of times the water that was left behind was yellowish or murky.. that can’t be good?!
